Our Jack Russell Terriers (as they known in all the world except in the American Kennel Club (AKC)) were imported from Russia, Poland and Italy. I looked around the world and fell in love with the Jack Russell Terriers of Lovely-Orange, Gang-Staff, and Sweet Hills Kennels. I trust the breeding practices of these breeders from whom I have purchased my first Russell Terriers (as they are known in the AKC). I plan to acquire another Italian-bred stud from di Sutri Kennel soon.

Blossom Valley Miniature Horses
I bought my first mini stallion, Arabay's Captain Azul (Blue) on Mothers Day in 1997 so he is now 20 years old. He was 4 months old when I bought this handsome blue roan. I later bought a little black mare, Bickel's Dreamin' in Elegance (Ellie). Eventually, I bred Blue to Ellie and we had a little bay filly Blossom Valley Morning Star (Marnie) who died of an injury in 2015. Later, I bred Ellie to Blue's blue roan son, Blossom Valley Evening Star (Major) and we had a little blue roan filly, Blossom Valley Starla (Starla) who died of a ruptured intestine in 2016. I showed them all at various times. You can see photos of the minis at my mini website. I don't breed them any more.

Blossom Valley Alpacas
I acquired my first 15 alpacas from a neighbor in Blossom Valley named Alijia Malcovich in May 2012 when her husband sold their home and she couldn't take them with her. In November 2012, we had two female crias. That same month, we lost one cria of Samantha Samantha was paralyzed for two weeks after that delivery and never fully recovered, eventually dying in February 2015. In 2013, we rescued another 8 female alpacas that had been abandoned on property when the owner moved in San Diego County. In 2014, we decided to delve more seriously in the alpaca business and purchased two herd sires, Tellicherry and Diamond Farm Victor. We bred several of our girls to these herd sires to have crias in 2017.
